It's Monday What Are You Reading
badge
It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.  It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog   and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

This week I'm reading:  The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken
Up next is a review book:  One More Day by Kelly Simmons

What I read last week:
Grave Robbers by Samantha Jillian Bayer
Elementals the Prophecy of Shadows
The Winter People by Jennifer McMahon.

Also on the 12/15/2015  I became a Nana for the 2nd time to a sweet little baby boy.

  1. Gorgeous blog.

The Winter People wasn't a favorite for me. We read it for book club.

Who is that adorable baby? :)

ENJOY this week, and Merry Christmas!!

  2. When I saw Grave Robbers cover I was excited but realized it is not the same book, interesting. I forgot artists sell their work and it can be used by other authors. I was intrigued by The Winter People initially but unsure now, hope you enjoyed it.

    1. Grave Robbers was a good read but very short. Only like 100 pages. I did enjoy Winter people.

  3. OOh nice! Those are mostly new to me reads! Heard of Bracken's books but couldn't get excited for her first series, though her new one in January is one I am very excited for! Hope you enjoy all the reads!

    Here's my Monday Wrap-up

    Have a GREAT day!

    1. Jessica, I did not know Bracken was coming out with a new series. So far I like The Darkest Minds. The only thing I don't care for is has very very long chapters.

  4. Congratulations on becoming a grandma. I read The Darkest Minds in 2012 for review and noted that I thought it was too long. I hope you enjoy it more than I did. Thanks for visiting my blog and following. I'm following you back.

    1. Thank you about being a grandma. I also agree with you that The Darkest Minds was to long. The author could of left parts of the book and still made it a great novel. My review for it is posted above.

    1. Congrats on you getting a granddaughter. I have not met my grandson yet. They live Down State Mi as I'm up North MI. We will be going down right after Christmas so I will get to meet the little guy than.

  7. Thanks so much for including Stephanie Jane in your My Blog List! I have just posted my three most recent reviews - a short mystery story, hard-hitting war fiction, and feminist science fiction - and am about to start on The Piano Tuner by Daniel Mason which is a historical novel set in 1880s Burma.

Huge congrats on your new Grandson :-)
