This is being hosted by Parajunkee.  Make sure you visit her blog so you can link you blog so you can get visitor's.

Day # 7 question.  What is the top ten blogger peeves of 2015?

I have not been blogging long enough to really have any peeves. The one I can come up with is people not responding to your comments.  For example I did a meme I visited over 50 blogs, left comments to each and every one of them.  If I was not a follower I followed them.  Now out of all those blogs I went to and we all know how much time that takes to read each and everyone of them, than make a comment I myself only had 17 responses.  I think it sad that if your into blogging that you can not respond back.

What are you Top Ten Blogger peeves of 2015?  I would love to read some answers so I don't make the same mistakes.

  1. I can understand this. I think replying to comments/ commenting back is so important, but even so I fail to do it on occasion. When I first started out I think I replied to everything, but when you start getting more followers/ comments it gets harder sometimes- not that my blog is big or anything. :) Some of the big ones I don't know how they do it.

If you do the Sunday Post most of the bloggers there are pretty good- it's a nice community. Hope you are enjoying your blogging journey so far!

    1. Thank you Greg, yes I guess I do understand if your blog is big it would be hard to comment back to everyone that post on your blog. I'm also enjoying blogging very much.

  2. I am trying to respond to as many comments as I can. I'm curious of how it will go though if my blog gains more followers. I can see where you would be peeved if you only got 17 responses out of 50. I'm still surfing around quite a bit to find other blogs I want to follow and am curious where this blogging venture will take me in the future. I'm curious also to see your review of the book you are currently reading if you post one. It looks good.

    1. Thanks for stopping by. Don't you cry has been slow read for me so far. I have not been really feeling well all week so I'm finding it hard to read when I can't stay awake.

  3. That is disappointing...I totally agree.

I visit EVERY blog when there are linkys...I like to do that. It is time consuming, though, but fun.

    1. I love having the linky to visit the blogs. I'm shy in person and on the internet so I was hopping blogging would help me no be so shy. Thanks for stopping by.

    2. It is great to be able to "talk" to other readers but still be "hidden." :)

      Have a great weekend.

  4. I am trying very hard to get back into commenting- because I agree, it's part of blogging. 2015 was very up and down for me in terms of posting, and I pretty much gave up commenting. It's going to take awhile for me to rebuild my blogging community, but I'm dedicated to trying. :)

  5. Yes, not getting any responses to comments can be frustrating. Of course, that Blogspot doesn't tell us when we get comments on our posts is part of the problem. I don't know about the other platforms, but it really would be nice if Blogspot could add that feature!

    1. Yes that would be a great option. Maybe someday they will.

    2. Blogger allows you to receive notification by checking the "notify me" box.

I always check that so I know when I have a comment. It comes to my e-mail.

  6. I always mean to visit bloggers who visit me but I don't always get a chance to. I had to limit my computer time at home after having some serious wrist pain issues a few years ago. I hope to get better at commenting this year.

Usually I don't get that many comments even on meme posts. I think there is a part of us that craves that response so we know our stuff is being read but if I focus on that too much or compare my blog to other people's blogs then I don't enjoy blogging as much. There have been times I've been tempted to turn off the comments on my blog and just write for myself.

    1. So far I have been doing good on commenting on the post. Hopefully I can keep it up. I don't want to stop blogging. So I guess I should not worry about getting post and just continue to read my books and blog about them, and try to keep my blog as interesting as I can.

  7. We all love comments, and it is disappointing when none are made, but just have fun.

    Have a great weekend.

Looking for Day #8's post. :)

  8. I try to visit folks who visit me, but as others have said, other things happen. Don't feel you have to follow everyone who stops by; eventually you'll find a group that reads what you like to read and that clicks for you. I try to visit a variety of blogs on the weekend memes but nice as you are, I won't be following your blog because they books I see there aren't the kind I like to read. I wish you the best--book blogging is fun and a great way to "meet" fellow bookworms.
